How to Make Tuna Melt
There’s something so nostaligc about a tuna melt that comforts your soul.
What You’ll Need for 2 sandwiches:
2 cans of solid white albacore tuna (or your favorite kind)
1/3 cup mayo (add more or less to taste, I like extra mayo)
1 tsp mustard
1 1/2 tbsp relish
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices sourdough bread (or desired bread)
4 slices cheddar cheese
2 tbsp butter
How to Cook it:
Drain water from tuna and place in mixing bowl with mayo, mustard, relish, salt and pepper.
Mix thoroughly
Melt 1 tbsp butter on heated pan on medium heat, add bread, add cheese, add tuna..
Close sandwich and let pan side bread turn golden brown (about 2 minutes)
Flip, add 1 tbsp butter to pan and let it seep under the bread. Let brown for 2 minutes.
Give it a tap to make sure it’s good and crispy! Enjoy!
